Originally built in 1880 the property has undergone a complete transformation. Behind the restored Victorian facade of the main building (The Big One) a cunningly contrived contemporary space blends experimental architectural forms with modern artworks and sumptuous furnishings to create a deeply interesting place to stay. Adjacent to the original building is The Little One a compact and highly original architectural gem featuring copper clad walls and prismatic skylight with views over a complex vegetable garden maze complete with wrought iron tree. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and laundry and every bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. Comfort is guaranteed interesting artworks sumptuous fabrics and stylish contemporary furnishings forming the backdrop to every creature comfort imaginable. (eg 3D TV a TV in every bedroom microwave hair dryers CD Players iPod/iPhone connectivity hot water bottles gas heaters heat pumps goldfish etc.). A welcome breakfast hamper is included in the tariff as are regular towel and linen changes. Should you wish the apartment to be serviced daily an additional fee applies. Servicing includes replenishing of breakfast supplies full clean of apartment including beds towels floors washing up etc. The garden is a real surprise. A vegetable garden maze with a wrought iron tree with a concealed walkway leading to the extensive formal gardens of Corinda our sister property.
