Adjoining the main house is The Bothie providing self catering accommodation for up to four people on weekly basis. br / br / br / br / The Bothie has its own sheltered courtyard with outdoor furniture and barbeque. From the courtyard there s access to the upper part of the garden where amongst the shrubs and trees you can discover the ancient ivy-covered remains of a medieval Knights Templar chapel. br / br / br / br / Drem s location in the heart of East Lothian is perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside. With over twenty golf courses in the area including Muirfield Links East Lothian is a golfers paradise however there are many other attractions for non-golfers. br / br / br / br / Edinburgh is only 25 minutes by rail (Drem station 5 minutes walk from the house) and slightly longer by road and has everything you would expect from such a historic capital city. br / br / br / br / The best times of year to visit are Hogmanay and during the Edinburgh festival (on for the whole of August). Other attractions include the Castle Hollyrood Palace The new Scottish Parliament and the Royal Yacht Britannia at Ocean Terminal.
