The west coast for Skye Aviemore the Cairngorms and the beaches of the Moray Coast can all be reached in a little over one hour. Closer to hand are The Culloden Battlefield and The Black Isle with its small coastal villages such as Fortrose Rosemarkie and Cromarty. Fortrose is well known for dolphin spotting. Fort William is 60 miles Isle of Skye 75 miles Fort Augustus 20 miles. br / br / br / br / Towels are supplied heating and electricity is included. br / br / br / br / The local hotel in Kiltarlity is under new management and is currently being renovated. There is also a small post office with a coffee shop. The village of Beauly is a 7 minute drive and has which has several places to eat a post office a bank a hardware shop pharmacy two small supermarkets Indian & Chinese takeaways and two cafes and on Thursday evenings in summer there s a pipe band and Highland dancing
